The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) was created as a model for asbestos management professionals to follow. These federal guidelines pertain to the management of any commercial or public building, including public schools and non-profit private schools. Schools in particular have specific regulatory requirements in buildings containing asbestos materials.
AHERA Inspections, Re-inspections and Management Plans
During the scope of work, R & A Consultants, Corp. will conduct asbestos inspections, re-inspections, and management plans by following all applicable federal and state regulations required to identify the regulated materials impacted by the renovation and develop abatement/remediation design documents.
R & A Consultants has a long history of successfully conducting asbestos inspections and developing management plans with our trained and certified project managers, operations coordinators, and industrial hygienists. We work closely with abatement contractors to ensure that the project is adhering to the correct specifications, that the project is on schedule, asbestos materials are properly removed, and the air quality is monitored and deemed safe for building occupancy.
